Announcing the winner of the Haute Shots Boudoir Print Contest – It was a pretty close call, but I am happy to announce that #12 is the winner with 31 votes! Mrs. H has won an 8×10 metallic print of the first image below! The runner-up was #15 with 26 votes – she will be receiving wallet-sized prints! Congratulations to both of you! I will be mailing you your prints shortly!
Wow, this print contest was a lot of fun, wasn’t it? I loved seeing all of your comments! Because of how great it turned out, I am going to start offering an 8×10 print for all clients who gives permission to post their images on the blog, if they reach 15 comments.

Christmas in October?
You heard that right, ladies. Haute Shots gets an early start on the holidays and are urging you to book your appointments now in order to have your gifts ready for that special someone in time. If you are serious about giving the gift of boudoir, then please think of booking your appointments now for October. I would love to help you out with that special gift!
Just so you know, here is an approximate timeline for shoots/products:
- Photo Session
- Process images (basic retouching & exposure corrections) & create Client Gallery (within a week of photo session)
- Client selects images and places order for products (depends on how long client takes to make a decision – usually a week or so)
- Retouch selected images & create layouts/designs for products (within a week after order is placed)
- Order sent to Vendor and they produce & process then ship back (one to 4 weeks depending on product)
I always suggest booking your appointment 2 months in advance so we aren’t rushed.

Busy Busy Busy
I am getting ready to go to my usual modern, luxury suite, which I pretty much consider my own private photography studio at this point since I use it so frequently. I have one shoot there today and 2 more tomorrow….woohoo! The rest of the week will be full of shoots too! I am so excited! I absolutely love doing what I do and am honored that these amazing women have chosen me to photograph them and help make them feel and look their absolute best, along with the wonderful girls of Hera Beauty! I truly have the best clients…and team!
Because of the suite shoots I will be out of the office until Monday. I will be checking emails frequently though, so please don’t hesitate to write if you need anything at all.

Another Sneak Peek – Bridal Boudoir Vegas
Miss L decided to do a bridal boudoir with me while in town for her bachelorette party. She went with my Mary Ann package and we did the shoot in her incredibly fabulous suite! Her images turned out incredibly hot! I really wish I could show you all some of them but due to her profession she decided to only show this more anonymous type shot.

A Real Passion for Boudoir
In case any of you are wondering, I specialize heavily in boudoir photography. While I may do an occasional lifestyle type portrait session (usually outdoors using natural lighting), my focus is on Boudoir only. This is rather unusual especially with the economic climate pushing other photographers into different areas. While they are all doing a little bit of everything, I am content to focus only on Boudoir. In fact, a lot of photographers focus on weddings and offer boudoir on the side. But, for me, Boudoir is what I want my entire business to be. I think I am mostly drawn to what it does for a woman’s self esteem. There is nothing better than seeing women light up in front of my camera and then hearing about how much they and their significant other enjoyed and appreciated the images.
It is my hope that putting my entire focus on Boudoir will better serve you and your needs when it comes time to do your pictures!

Mrs K came from Los Angeles to work on her modeling portfolio by having me do an extended shoot for her. We had so much fun with her photo session that it felt like she was an old friend! She is really an amazing woman…not only is she an unbelievably gorgeous girl who models, but she is super smart, incredibly funny and is going to school to become a Physician’s Assistant!
