Fierce and Fabulous | Las Vegas Boudoir
Ms. R is one of those feline-like females who just oozes sex appeal – not in the basic form of sensuality either, but in a sophisticated manner that very few possess. She has a confidence about her that is awe-inspiring and a fashion sense to be envied! She brought the hottest little Herve Leger dress that we were all oohing & ahhing over! This girl also knows how to smoke a cigar like a champ! Our time together was a bit rushed so I worried about her puffing away continuously for the sake of the photo, but she pulled it off brilliantly! Consider me impressed!
Thank you Ms. R for a fun morning and for giving me permission to share your imagery here. You rock!

Beauty and Brains | Las Vegas Boudoir
Some of us are blessed with either a little more beauty than brains or a little more brains than beauty. But, this girl has the best of both worlds! I was floored by her striking good looks and smitten by her wisdom. Her humor is dark & witty and she has a mystery about her that is absolutely enthralling. How lucky was I to get to spend a couple of hours with such a girl?
Thank you for allowing me to share your gorgeous images here on my blog Ms. C! I hope we get to work together again soon!

For Other Photographers | Las Vegas Boudoir
I am head over heels in love with photography and absolutely adore running my own business. Both of these things bring me ridiculous amounts of joy that I feel so very grateful for every single day. My life was never easy and it was a long, hard road getting here, but persistence, honesty and hope brought me to the point I’m at now. I worked very, very hard to get here. I realize there are no shortcuts in life. But persistence definitely pays off and it begins to feel like life rewards you for persevering through the trials that lead you to your calling.
Unfortunately, there is an ugly side to running a photography business too. I am consistently shocked at how shady some people are by stealing images, copy from my website and even stealing my hard-earned client testimonials. You also get some who try to acquire your price list by acting like a potential client and even some who go as far as sending a ‘faux client’ to get the inside scoop on my business. I just don’t understand why people feel the need to do this.
Running your own business, especially a creative one such as Photography should be a fun and unique experience. You should have enough photos that you are proud of (that you have taken on your own) to use in your portfolio if you are promoting yourself as a professional photographer. And you should feel passionate enough about what you do that words just flow naturally when describing your business on your website and to others. And, if you are doing a job well done, testimonials will come naturally, and often! Testimonials are a reward for your hard work. Just let them come to you. Most of all, remember to be an original! People don’t want to hire a person trying to be someone else. They want to hire YOU, (yes YOU) if you will allow yourself to shine genuinely for everyone to see. And, if these things just aren’t there for you yet, then just keep photography as a hobby until you are more ready. Nothing wrong with that at all!
So, in trying to think of a solution for all of this, I realize that maybe I could possibly help those of you who feel stuck and might be contemplating doing something unethical as I spoke of above. I get a lot of requests to offer workshops. Is this something many more of you would want? Would you rather I write a book? Or make myself available for mentoring?
I really just want to see everyone reach their own potential, which is unique for all of us. I definitely don’t want to see our industry going down the tube because of a few bad apples either.
So, please tell me, how can I help you?

In Her Own Words | Las Vegas Boudoir
Haute Shots and Hera Beauty were so fortunate to work with a very special lady whom I thought could better explain her boudoir experience in her own words (below). I think so many women can relate to her story. Introducing the beautiful Ms. T:
“Of all the different roles I take on in my daily life, the one that portrays the, ‘attractive, sexy, confident, woman’ has lay dormant for a very long time. After so many years of doing things for everyone else, I had lost part of myself and needed to do something just for me. I pushed fear aside, stepped out of the box and booked a photo session with Stacie. Though I walked into the shoot feeling nervous and average, I walked out feeling amazing, confident and ready to conquer the world. From the make-up and hair session, through the shoot and afterwards, Stacie made me feel at ease and beautiful. The pictures turned out more wonderful than I ever imagined possible. Every time I look at my photos my spirit and confidence is renewed and I celebrate who I am right now. Thank you Stacie!!” ~Ms. T
Thank you Ms. T for allowing us the opportunity to work with you! It seemed apparent to me that you have been a gracious giver your whole life, making sure others were happy and that it was time to reclaim your own joy and beauty. You truly are an inspiration and we had so much fun with you during your time in Vegas! Thank you so much for not only allowing me to share some of your gorgeous images but also your fabulous story! We adore you!

About Photography Podcast | Las Vegas Boudoir
Recently I was honored to be a guest on Ed Verosky’s About Photography Podcast series. Ed picked my brain about the business of boudoir, Vegas-style. I had so much fun doing this podcast with him. I absolutely love my job and adore my clients so once I got over my initial nerves I thoroughly enjoyed getting to talk about my world of boudoir! Ed was a fantastic host who put me right at ease (he is also a very accomplished and talented photographer). I can’t wait to do it again!
I truly hope that budding photographers as well as experienced photographers will find something in the podcast useful or interesting. Some of the things I mention in the podcast that I think are worth expanding on here for other photographers are:
Marketing:
Stop following other boudoir photographers and research instead big brands that share your target audience. We have a huge problem in our rapidly growing industry right now with copying. Newbies are copying websites word for word, using others images, marketing campaigns, etc. Big no-no. Instead, find inspiration that you can make your own. Another marketing tip is to invest in a graphic designer for your marketing material, website and logo. It will make a huge difference, I promise!
Photography:
The same could be said for finding your own style of photography. Look towards other photography niches to find inspiration….fashion, glamour, beauty, even weddings. It seems as though some of the masters of photography are being overlooked in favor of new photographers. But, you can find so much inspiration from the likes of Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Ellen von Unwerth, Herb Ritts, Terry Richardson, Peter Lindbergh, and Mario Testino to name only a few. Just remember not to copy them but to find inspiration from them.
Portfolio Building:
I know my comments regarding using models may not be popular in my industry but it is something I feel very strongly about. If your target audience is real women who are not accustomed to posing in front of a camera and who have realistic body types for the average woman, then you really shouldn’t be shooting models for your portfolio. You lose the potential to learn how to work with body issues, self esteem issues and won’t be prepared for the real thing when it comes along. It’s a bit deceiving for women who are contemplating using you. It could potentially hurt your clients sense of confidence if you are unaccustomed to working with real gals not used to being in such a vulnerable situation. If you insist on using a model for these purposes, please include a disclaimer that she is in fact a model. On the flip side, if your target clientele is actually models then obviously this is perfectly fine or if you have personal artistic projects. This is just my opinion, of course, but I do feel very protective of women looking for a photographer who understands how to work with them individually, with their fears and perceived flaws.
So, there ya have it. My first podcast interview! I’m absolutely thrilled and hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did doing it!
Comments are always welcome and appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions at all and I would be more than happy to answer them.
xoxo

A Sense of Longing | Las Vegas Boudoir
A boudoir session to me is similar to a dance. It takes two to tango, right? Well just like that, boudoir takes the skill of not only the photographer but a willing participant who is ready to make lovely art together. I’d say Ms. T knows how to dance alright, wouldn’t you? Actually, she DID dance during her photo session! I loved that she wasn’t afraid to move!
Ms. T came to me to have her photos done for her fiance. They are in the midst of a long-distance relationship, so I thought it would be awesome to reflect some of that longing in her photographs. She did such a phenomenal job of letting her emotions show!
Thank you Ms. T for a fun and fabulous shoot and for allowing me to share your photographs here. You are a strong, beautiful woman and I am honored to have been able to capture these moments with you! xoxo
Special thanks to the oh-so-talented Kat of Hera Beauty for a great job on makeup
P.S. Ms T blinged the bra in the top images herself! Can you believe it? I think she should go into business with this talent of hers! Let me know if you are interested in her creating something similar and I will pass your info along to her.

Most Fabulous Night Ever | Las Vegas Boudoir
What a fun night we ended up having in honor of Haute Shots 2nd Anniversary! We all met up on the third level of The Chandelier bar at The Cosmopolitan in our own private little glorious section and we talked, we giggled and drank yummy drinks like The Butterfly! I was so pleased to see everyone who showed up, and thrilled to have a recent client from San Francisco join us as well as other clients from AZ who have become fast friends! So happy that you all could join us!
The Cosmopolitan is hands down my favorite spot in Vegas now! It’s sparkly, modern and simply beautiful! And they have a secret pizza joint with no branding (no name, plain white pizza boxes, etc) that is the coolest find in our city! Our group was able to find it thanks to the amazing pastry chef (past phenomenal client) we had in our group who was definitely ‘in the know’! Seriously, if you are ever at the Cosmopolitan Secret Pizza is the perfect stop to end your late night before heading home. Let me know if you ever find it and experience their yummy, gooey, greasy, slices of pure goodness.
I have to say that my only regret that night was that I didn’t get to spend as much quality time as I would have liked with each and every person there. It’s hard work playing hostess! I had to work the room evenly…not an easy task. But, I cherished each moment I spent with you all and am so very grateful to have been able to celebrate this special occasion with all of you! Thank you so much for helping to make the night so special.
xoxo
Stacie
Special thanks to Nate Ludens (Kat’s husband) for taking these images. You are the best!

Sparkly | Las Vegas Boudoir
Any girl who lists her favorite color as sparkly is a girl after my own heart! Ms. A not only loves all things sparkly but also has a fondness for evening gowns and well-designed shoes! How could you not love a girl who likes all that? I felt so fortunate to get to photograph this beauty. She has a background in dance and it translated beautifully in her photographs. So full of poise and grace.
Thank you Ms. A for being such a joy to work with and for allowing me to share your gorgeous images here. You, my dear, are an absolute work of art!

WPPI Recap 2011 | Las Vegas Boudoir
I am still reeling from the excitement of this past week! I learned so much, met so many amazing people (Jerry Ghionis & Robert Evans!!! – to name only a few), and was going nonstop from about 5am till 2am most days that I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it all. WPPI filled me with so much knowledge, ideas and insights even though I couldn’t attend half of what I had originally thought I could. There was just too much going on!
• Having my image featured on products at a vendor booth to highlight their new presentation boxes (see image above – taken with my iPhone)! This was such an honor to have my work selected for this, recognized and showcased this way!
• Getting to know some of my vendors at the parties! I truly work with the best of the best! This was absolutely reaffirmed when I got to know them personally
• Spending time with my fellow boudoir photographer peers from forums. We are all so lucky to get to do what we do, aren’t we? It was very important to me to make sure to spend time with these gals. Glad I was able to find the time to do it!
• Getting to know some local photographers in different niches. I see the importance of networking with you all and helping each other grow. For this, I am very grateful.
• Finding amazing new products to offer! Oh my goodness, hold on to your seats everyone…I can’t wait to get some new samples to show you!
• Learning, learning, learning….from the technical side to the business side of photography, I gained so much knowledge!
• My favorite classes were by Brian Smith and Jose Villa! Both so inspiring and informative!
• I also enjoyed the Women in Contemporary Photography panel discussion!
With all of that said, be sure to watch for some big changes to be coming soon for Haute Shots! My aim has always been to provide you with the best experience possible but it’s about to get even better!!
Glad to be back in the office. Time to play major catch-up now!

A Classic Beauty | Las Vegas Boudoir
Once upon a time, I was a young lady with a real thirst for the arts who very much enjoyed reading classic plays. I went through a rather hardcore phase with this when I lived in LA. I couldn’t get enough of them at that time in my life. One of my favorite playwrights was Tennessee Williams, so imagine my delight when I laid my eyes on Mrs. M and knew that I had found my long-lost Maggie from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof! Mrs. M had such a strong resemblance to a youthful Elizabeth Taylor that I knew we had to try to capture some of that spirit from that particular play. Hera Beauty did a fabulous job as always at transforming Mrs. M into that desirable character! And, to top it all off, we finished the shoot with some shower shots…sexy!
Special thanks to Mr. M for setting this all up for his lovely wife while they were in town. The love between these two was so apparent in my communication with each of them and I found it both inspiring and touching! Thank you both for that! And thank you to Mrs. M for allowing me to share these gorgeous images with you all here now. xoxo

Getting Ready for WPPI 2011 | Las Vegas Boudoir
Tomorrow begins the delightful madness known to us photographers as WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference and Tradeshow). As you can see from my previous post about WPPI 2010, it is going to be one of the most inspiring, educational and insanely fun events of the year for me. I feel like a kid at Christmas, seriously!
I told myself last year that I would narrow down the classes I am taking before the actual event but this is proving more difficult than I thought. There are going to be so many truly amazing speakers again this year! So far, I am leaning towards learning from Jesh de Rox (can’t wait to experience his Beloved Revolution – I hear his talk last year was so good that it brought many to tears), Julieanne Kost (digital imaging evangelist), Brian Smith (celebrity portrait photographer), Jose Villa (fine art wedding photographer), Sandy Puc (portraits) & Jerry Ghionis, (wedding photographer). There are many others I want to see speak too. I will also be attending the Airplanes & Blazers party (here’s a video from their Airhorns & Lasers party last year)…woohoo! That is just a very brief overview of a tiny portion of the events that will be going on. Oh my goodness, I almost forgot that I get to see fashion photographer NIGEL BARKER – you may recognize him as the ridiculously good-looking photographer from America’s Next Top Model! He is hosting the Sony Fashion Show on Sunday night! I’m sooo excited!
If you are a photographer reading this and you happen to see me at WPPI this year, please come say hi! It’s a much more interesting place when you get to know everyone! I know I am looking forward to seeing the awesome people I met there last year, as well as meeting many, many new friends!

Here’s a couple more lovely shots from this recent session. I loved this girl! A total class act with a vivacious personality and a sense of humor like you wouldn’t believe. She was completely at ease in her own skin and I think it really shines through in her pics, don’t you?
Thank you Ms. S for a fabulous session and for giving me permission to share your pretty pictures here.

She’s Gonna Shimmy | Las Vegas Boudoir
“Oh, she’s gonna shimmy till her garters break”
That line from the musical Chicago’s “All That Jazz” reminds me so much of Miss H and her shoot with me. She planned her photo session well in advance, giving herself lots of time to find just the right outfits and accessories. She also created and brought along her ipod loaded with a fabulous playlist full of sexy, girly songs that included quite a few fun showtunes such as ‘All That Jazz’. I love music in my boudoir shoots – it makes such a huge difference in the overall experience! I had a blast capturing shots of Miss H singing along to some of her favorite songs!
Miss H was one smart cookie and took advantage of hiring Hera Beauty to stay on to do an extra hair & makeup look for her. It gave her a wider range of images to choose from this way. She looks divine, doesn’t she?
Thank you Mrs H for such a phenomenal shoot and for allowing me to share your images on my blog! xoxo

WPPI 2010 Recap | Las Vegas Boudoir
In planning for my favorite week of the year as a photographer – WPPI (next week!), I realized I had drafted a post about last year’s conference but never posted it because I was waiting to receive an image to include with it. I am just going to post the old draft now anyway so you can all see how amazing this conference was for me both professionally and personally. It’s going to be even better this year! So many exciting things in store! I can’t wait to get to share it all with you!
• • • • • • • •
Wow, what a whirlwind the past couple of weeks has been! I came away from WPPI feeling completely inspired, encouraged and feeling like I could take on the world!
Here are a few highlights:
First off, I have to thank Maura Kate of Irma Lou Photography for paying it forward BIG time. I had planned on attending the Business Institute and just going to the Trade Show, or taking baby steps since last year I only went to the trade show and thought next year I would be able to attend the classes too. Well, after atending the Business Institute I realized I was left with this yearning to learn more and be a part of all of the action. In comes Irma, who suddenly wasn’t able to make it to WPPI this year and through Leigh of Fleur di Leigh Photography, offered to give her Full Access ticket away! And, she gave it to me! Oh my goodness, I can’t even begin to express how grateful I was for this generous gift. You two ladies made my year! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn more about my craft and continue pursuing my dream!
The most inspiring class I took had to be wedding photographer Jasmine Star’s Ghetto Fabulous Marketing. I was most excited to hear her speak, even though I really didn’t think I needed to learn anything else at the show about Marketing. Her first class had sold out, but I was fortunate enough to have just picked up my ticket for WPPI to hear an announcement of her makeup class. I ran straight up to grab a seat. She definitely didn’t disappoint. While I already knew her story, I found her to be utterly inspiring in staying true to yourself and putting more of your personality out there. One of the most important things she said that stuck with me is that it’s okay if not everybody likes you. I know this, but as a perfectionist I fight this all the time. Hearing her say that actually repelling some people though is a positive thing since you don’t want to waste your time on the wrong people anyway, resonated with me deeply.
I LOVED seeing the Print Gallery of the finalists in the print competition. So inspiring to see such great work all in one space. Although, I was a bit disappointed to see that boudoir images were lacking in presence there.
The Trade Show was awesome since I got to meet my vendors in person. I was especially excited to meet Casey who handles my account with Forbeyon – they produce my Luxury Albums so beautifully.
And, of course, there were the parties on Tuesday night. Well, there were parties every night but I limited the ones I attended to just that evening. First up was the Boudoir Get-together that I coordinated at Rouge inside of the MGM. There was a pretty decent turn-out. Thank you to all who attended! We all network with each other online, so it was so great to see so many amazing boudoir shooters in person finally! After that a few of us all headed over to the[ B] Party which Becker of The [B] School was throwing at Mandalay Bay. Becker was such a gracious host. I was impressed by how he greeted everyone at the door himself and let us all know where the goods were…the goods being fantastic mexican food (delish tacos etc) and drinks (yummy margaritas and sangrias). I was so glad I went with my own group of fellow photographers though, as people seemed to be sticking to their own little groups instead of networking and mingling. I would have felt completely awkward trying to meet people in a situation like that!
Another highlight that evening was actually getting to meet Jasmine Star! The ever-so-popular pin-up photographer Robert Alvarado even snapped a picture of me with her! Thanks for being so kind and generous Jasmine!
Towards the end of the festivities I was fortunate enough to get to do a boudoir session for another boudoir photographer! Talk about fun! I was sooo glad I was able to work that into my schedule, as I had turned away a couple other boudoir photographers, not knowing if I could find the time during WPPI. But, it worked out for this one, thankfully! She was just as pretty as can be too. She reminded me of Kate Beckinsale!
I am both a bit relieved WPPI has ended so I can get back to business as normal, but a bit sad also. There was so much that I feel like I missed. Next year I am thinking of actually taking the week off (maybe even staying at the MGM) since I had a hard time trying to tackle all of that plus my work load. And, because my phone signal was just awful there I decided it would be better to plan on meeting up with other photographers way in advance. So, next year I will be painstakingly planning out my schedule with classes, activities and meetups.
I am more devoted than ever to becoming the best photographer and business woman I can possibly be. Thank you WPPI and to all the cool people I met for making me even more passionate about what I do. Because of WPPI I am excited about implementing some changes to Haute Shots for better workflow, marketing, etc.

Shower Shots | Las Vegas Boudoir
A little Friday fun here with some recent shower shots with an unbelievably hot client! I will be revealing more from her fun shoot soon but wanted to end the week with these beauties first.
This is an option for one of your ‘looks’ at your shoots, ladies (if the bathroom in the suite is large enough). All you need to bring for that is an inexpensive Hane’s mens tank top (I believe the client pictured here is wearing a women’s tank top from Victoria’s Secret though) and some cute little boyshorts or cotton panties. Some girls choose not to wet their hair, and who can blame them after having Hera Beauty style it so beautifully. But if you don’t have anywhere to go after your shoot, you may as well go for it and get your hair wet! It makes for super sexy photos that your guy will go bananas for!

The Perfect Gift for your Pretty Valentine | Las Vegas Boudoir
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner guys. How are you going to let her know how special she is to you this year? You can’t go wrong with a gift certificate for a boudoir session for her! Boudoir is not just a gift for women to give their husbands, but it’s one of the best gifts a guy can give to his girl! What better way to show her how beautiful you think she is than to have that beauty captured forever with a boudoir photo session…not to mention the primping and pampering from Hera Beauty she can enjoy too!
A Haute Shots Boudoir Photography Session would make the perfect gift this Valentine’s Day!
Choose from two sessions below:
Purchase a Ginger Session right here (click link).
Purchase a Mary Ann Session right here (click link).
Be sure to purchase in time for it to be mailed to you so you can present the gift certificate to her on Valentine’s Day.
Don’t just take it from me, listen to what this happy husband had to say after giving his wife the gift of boudoir:
“Where do I begin? I contacted Haute Shots originally to set up a boudoir shoot as a surprise for my wife. From those early conversations to the actual shoot and beyond, you made the work easy and enjoyable. Everything from the suite to your hair/makeup team combined to make the day all about her. With your easy-going manner, quick laughter and ability to put my wife at ease, I knew she would be in good hands after you all kicked me out of the shoot.
Fast forward to now – I just got back from a business trip, and my wife had received the book you prepared for us. I was eager to get home quickly to see what her “story” would be. The simple black box. The classy and thoughtful packaging touches inside. The black leather book. It was beyond words. Simply put…holy moly schmoly, it rocks! Each turn of the page brought an even bigger smile to my face and a deeper wonderment of my gorgeous wife. In some shots, she knows I’m here looking…in others, I’m watching her enjoy being herself. Her eyes and expressions range from innocent to playful to sultry. Every time I see those eyes (I think you know which picture I mean…), I fall in love all over again.
I always knew my wife was beautiful, but these shots let me know that she’s aware of that beauty. I would daresay the time she spent with you changed the way she sees herself. Thank you. You truly have a gift.”

Sparkle and Shine | Las Vegas Boudoir
When I first started offering boudoir photography , I received an email from a sweet girl in Texas who told me she would be moving to Las Vegas soon and really wanted to do a shoot one day with me. Well, not long after she moved here I ran a Valentine’s Day contest and her essay won! (Read her winning entry here and see the resulting images from that session here). She immediately melted my heart with her sweet demeanor and fun attitude! She has become one of my biggest supporters, even going as far as bidding on and winning my service at a charity event for a good cause. Which led us to her most recent shoot. She had very limited time for this shoot (she’s a busy girl!), but rush or not, this girl knows how to shine, doesn’t she? And just look at her sparkly shoes! Ohhh, be still my heart!
Love you Mrs. H! Thanks for another fun photo session! xoxo

I think what makes a woman exude sexiness is all within. Poise, self esteem, (without arrogance of course). The sexiest women I know are completely content with who they truly are as a person. Usually putting others above themselves (mother’s, caretakers, girlfriends, teachers, professionals in a myriad of fields), yet not forgetting about what makes them happy. They have a freedom of expression all their own, and become almost flirtatious with it- because of their own inner happiness. There is power in a woman’s sexuality- and sexuality comes from being genuinely who you are. No pretenses… just confidence with a blend of that perfect humility and poise…
- Famous female that most embodies sexy to you:
One person who immediately pops into my head is Meryl Streep. In every role she plays she brings this certain sexiness as described in my idea of “What makes a woman sexy”. Being an actress myself, I know that you must bring your own essence to each character. She does this so well and does not disappoint, in every character I’ve ever seen her play. And age has nothing to do with sexiness, contrary to what many believe. If you are a woman and you truly are happy with the person you are, your genuine self, you will be sexy until the day you die… whoever you are.
- Favorite sexy film or literature (or both):
I am not a big reader of novels… I do however love a good “self help” book. One of my favorites is “Mama Gina’s School of Womanly Arts”. It’s a whimsical, fun and adorable book that helps women to pretty much “get their sexy on” – doesn’t matter what you weigh or again, how old you are. Say it with me, “If you are female, you are desirable”… (not that males aren’t) but femininity is something to be celebrated. On that note, a film that just surfaced to memory is “Two Moon Junction”… a semi “B” film, yet something about that film got me fired up when I was only a teen! Most recently, a film that I ADORE is “Leap Year”- very sexy. And, to me romance is what is the sexiest thing of all. I LOVE romantic movies!!! From something as adorable as “enchanted” to something as deep and raw as “Officer and a Gentleman”, I also LOVE “Sense and Sensibility” and “Gone with the Wind”… “Bridges Over Madison County”, “It’s Complicated”, so many black and white films – too many for me to list… “Pitcher and the Pin Up” (ha! I just had to say that!).
- Song or Album that never fails to put you in a sexy mood:
Jazz does it for me – especially Brazilian Jazz. The sexiest album of all time for me is Sarah Tavares “Balance” – just amazing. Her voice transports me to Rio and in the arms of my red hot lover (who happens to be my husband of course). But there are a few sides to me, so it depends on my mood. I absolutely LOVE George Straight and the country girl in me can get in a sexy mood just by hearing that man. Truly too many sexy songs to list. But on my wilder carnal side – I cannot help but be a bit turned on by Kings of Leon, and I admit it, damn it!
- Fashion trend, item or designer collection that you find sexy:
I have very eclectic taste, but I have always loved vintage inspired clothing. I love true vintage clothes and coats. Right now being winter I imagine something with a 20’s-40’s flair, fitted like a dress, with pleats and an hour-glass shape. Adorable detailed buttons down the front. Wool, but lined with an amazingly soft satin lining. Warm but elegant. With a pair of Casadei 5096 Platform pumps. Maybe a tiny simple cocktail dress underneath, and the perfect shade of deep satin garnet lipstick, Nars Afghan Red.
- Sexy destination:
I think these days with all the running around and busyness in my life- the sexiest destination for me would be anywhere I can wind down and RELAX. Right now I really long to sit on a beach somewhere, anywhere. Rio, Hawaii, California! But I also love the warmth of a cabin with a fire inside when the cold is outside. Recently my husband and I went up to the Mt. Charleston Lodge just to get away. We have also enjoyed some amazing places, like a Hotel in Beaver Creek, right up the road from Vail, Colorado… at both of these places- the snow outside makes it so cozy, and to me, nothing is sexier than being with the person you love snuggled up in front of a fire with a glass of red wine… (Cliché? I don’t care- makes me feel AMAZING) Wherever the destination is, and even when I’m alone- I bring my sexy with me.
- What makes you feel sexy?
Hmmm? I think I feel the sexiest when I have been eating right and working out in general. But when I’m well rested and am wearing something I really feel good in, this is when I feel the sexiest. And whenever I feel good, it seems that this is when I get the most complements, and compliments always make me feel sexy! I am blessed to have a husband who is constantly telling me that I am the most beautiful woman in the world. However, he could tell me this until he’s blue in the face-and I don’t believe him. But there are times when his words penetrate and I look in the mirror and think, “hey, I am sexy”. On a side note: I feel sexy when I am in the water for some reason? I always say I’m a mermaid (don’t worry- no delusions here – I know that I am not a mermaid and that they do not exist)… but when I think about it – I feel sexiest when I’m swimming, or in a Jacuzzi. It may sound ridiculous, but it’s true. On a houseboat on a lake or on a yacht in the pacific, or just laying on the beach. It might be the warm sun, or the way the water feels? But to me- it makes me feel sexy. I also feel sexy when I feel good about myself. Like after I’ve accomplished a goal I’ve set out to do… I think powerful women are very sexy.
About little about me (Corinna):
I started a production company, Ishah Productions, LLC. with two amazing women. One of them has a ranch in Colorado and the other lives just outside of L.A. Ishah in the Hebrew means “Woman” it is femininity defined. Ishah is the first woman created by God. And so we chose that as our company’s title. We are currently working on a documentary about an amazing woman named Darlene Rose. She was the first white woman (a Christian Missionary) to penetrate the interior of New Guinea and live among cannibals. She was taken POW when the Japanese encroached on the Island and took her and many others to the infamous “work/death camps”. The things she endured are unimaginable. It’s a true story of courage and hope in the face of adversity and hardship. We are also working on the feature film. We hope that this story will inspire and encourage everyone who sees it.
I am also an acting teacher and private coach. I enjoy teaching and training children in the craft of acting. I cover everything from basic improvisational skills to auditioning and on-camera techniques. The name of the acting academy where I teach is “Hollywood Bound”.
