Green Eyed Girl | Las Vegas Boudoir
I absolutely love using hotels suites for boudoir sessions. They add a lot of mystery, glamour and excitement to the shoots. But on this occasion I was a little annoyed – our suite wasn’t ready in time for the shoot! Luckily, Mrs C was a real doll and spent the time waiting by chatting it up with Kat, Whitney and me. I loved getting to know more about her this way! And while talking to her I just knew she was going to be super easy to shoot. Her easy-going manner and friendly demeanor were the giveaways! And, hello? Isn’t she pretty? The camera absolutely adored her intensley gorgeous green eyes!

Silver Screen Siren | Las Vegas Boudoir
I have been so excited to post these images from my recent shoot with Mrs W. Everything about them just screams glamour to me. We all decided to do the styling for this one a bit different than Mrs W is used to since she has had her boudoir images taken with me before on a prior trip to Vegas. Kat and Whitney of Hera Beauty went with a more retro, Old Hollywood Starlet sort of look with her hair and makeup. Mrs W even brought sexy red shoes for this, quite a departure for her, as she is an avid devotee to black as far as her wardrobe is concerned. And, as always, she was adorned in gorgeous accessories! I think she looks divine, don’t you?

Haute Shots Boudoir Photography is Coming to Kauai, Hawaii! One week only.
Haute Shots Boudoir will be in Kauai, Hawaii for one week only (July 17th-24th) and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m interested in doing a boudoir or beach style shoot for a few lucky ladies, if time permits. If there is enough interest, I could schedule a marathon day of boudoir shoots.

A few recent articles are drawing attention to boudoir photography. I’ll bet your guy is secretly hoping this is something you will do for his next birthday or your next anniversary!

Boudoir Photos as a Father’s Day Gift
He does so much for you and your children, why not give him a sexier gift this year for Father’s Day that he is sure to appreciate! Please make sure to book your appointment now in order to get everything back in time for Father’s Day. Production can sometimes be timely. For example, albums take about 4 weeks to produce and that isn’t counting my production time in retouching the images, creating the album layout etc (although I’m pretty quick). Prints, calendars etc are much faster turn-around, if you need something quick.
Dream a Little Dream
Many of you may have noticed that my blog has been turning in a different direction…more oriented towards Boudoir Photography. Why might this be? Well, I have finally decided what I want to be when I grow up!
In all seriousness, last August I was laid off from my job as a graphic designer, thrown into the cold in the worst job market fathomable. While I began slipping into a depression at first, I quickly roused myself out of the darkness in search of my own personal light. I decided that being laid off was an opportunity to rediscover myself and what I most wanted to do professionally. I also found that any negativity wasn’t helping at all and that I needed to remain positive in order for good things to begin coming my way. And begin to happen they did…almost immediately.
After having experimented with nature photography, product photography, portrait photography and concert photography, I became interested in boudoir photography for women (over a year ago) and shot a few boudoir sessions for friends but suddenly I began getting calls from perfect strangers asking about my boudoir services. With each new session I surprised even myself at how much I was growing, learning and gaining confidence as a professional photographer! And with each new client came another referral after they heard what a great experience their friend had and after seeing the resulting images from their shoots. That is when I had my ‘a-ha’ moment that I might be able to support myself doing what I love!
I have been working very hard (with Joe, who is doing so very much to help make my dreams come true) on the new website, this new blog, new marketing materials and the new name for my new photography business (Haute Shots) focusing on boudoir! I am super excited about this and really hope that it will do well.

Privacy & Respect
It is incredibly important to me that my boudoir clients privacy is respected, so you can be sure that if you do a boudoir shoot with me that I will not blast your images all over the internet, unless you give me your approval first for use in my portfolio/blog. One of my recent shoots is an example of this. Due to the nature of my clients profession, she didn’t feel comfortable publishing images that showed her face. But she did allow me to showcase the gorgeous image above. Thank you for that! We had a fun shoot and the pictures turned out AMAZING!
