Hi, I’m Stacie, the owner & photographer of Haute Shots Boudoir Photography in Las Vegas, NV. Throughout my life I always had a passion for creativity, beauty, high fashion and women oriented issues. I grew up amongst two very strong and beautiful women, my Mom and my Grandma, and while they both struggled as single Moms at times (even though they were constantly being pursued for marriage), their persistence and joy for living was definitely passed along to me. Like them, I eventually found myself in the difficult situation of being a single Mom to a very smart, handsome & strong-willed son. What helped me through the hard times was always searching for beauty in every situation (even where others could find none) and keeping the hope alive that I would one day find my calling in life.

As a child I fantasized about working for fashion magazines and coerced a childhood friend into helping me create our own little fashion mag using markers and cut-out images glued onto regular notebook paper. Though it never saw the light of day to anyone but us (thankfully), I felt a sense of pride in putting them together. I always dreamed of working in a creative field and yearned for it to be full of glamour while working alongside amazing women. I just didn’t know then that it would exceed even my wildest fantasies and I would become a boudoir photographer!

Before discovering my gift for boudoir photography, I worked as a graphic artist, a floral designer and even an atmosphere actress (basically a movie extra while trying to get my SAG card) for a brief period of time in things like The Nutty Professor, Heat (Al Pacino!), Nick of Time (with Johnny Depp and Christopher Walken – 2 of my favorite actors!), The Money Train, ER (when George Clooney was on it..woohoo), and Party of Five (hello Mathew Fox!), amongst other shows. I believe all of these things have played an integral part in developing who I am as a person as well as in developing my skill for finding and capturing beauty as a boudoir photographer.

I discovered my true love for photography many, many years ago when I came across Ellen Von Unwerth’s body of work, and finally pushed myself to really learn photography while I worked as a Graphic Designer. I am, for the most part, self-taught and always striving for growth within my field. I quickly learned that my path in photography lies in portraiture, most specifically in Boudoir. Most women rarely get to see themselves in such a glamorous light and I marvel at what these types of photo sessions do for a woman’s self esteem – I just love being a part of that!

I don't pretend to be a fashion, beauty or editorial photographer. I know my place in the world of photography. It is with real women as clients in the form of boudoir. While others are using models to build their portfolio on their blogs and websites, I happily choose to only shoot real women (with fears and flaws just like me) to help make the world a more beautiful place one lady at a time. I think this helps set me apart in that I know how to work better with women who might be less comfortable in their own skin or in front of a camera than models would be. For these reasons, you won't find models on my blog or website. You will only find my real clients that have given their absolute permission to post their images here. Privacy is always of the utmost importance so the clients who opt out of this are always protected.

Stacie is not alone in her Haute Shots endeavors, and in fact, Haute Shots never would have been possible if it were not for Joe Gold, Stacie's super supportive boyfriend. He is the man behind the curtains, so to speak and is a master designer with over 15 years of professional creative experience in web, flash animation, & print.  A methodical and serious designer, Joe  believes that paying attention to the most minute details separates a great designer from all of the rest. Joe is responsible for the Haute Shots website, blog, as well as many technical and marketing aspects, but he is NOT present during the photo shoots.

A licensed Cosmetologist in Las Vegas, Nevada, Whitney offers a full range of hair design services for men and women at The Cutting Room Salon and Spa. As the premier hairstylist for Hera Beauty, Whitney specializes in creating both classic and modern wedding styles that represents the look and personal style of our clients. In addition to traditional wedding looks, Whitney is also in demand as a stylist for clients looking for vintage styles (fingerwaves, pin-curls, etc) which are becoming increasingly popular among brides.

About Rachel:
A freelance stylist in Las Vegas, Rachel is a NV State Board of Cosmetology licensed cosmetologist who offers haircuts and coloring options for both men and women. Rachel is a wedding and event styling specialist with a unique talent for braided styles, classic and modern updos. With seven years of experience creating wedding hairstyles, Rachel can customize your hair to reflect your personality and style.
