Creatives are such a passionate breed of people that it can be assumed by many that we might even borderline on being neurotic and obsessive or (gasp!) even insane. In a world FULL of naysayers, our robust ideas are usually dismissed by many. That always shatters our spirits. But, being able to talk about these ideas and share in the excitement is incredibly important to a creative soul. It is so important that without having a positive sounding board, many of the things we take for granted in our lives might not exist today. I am reminded by this while reading 'Steve Jobs'. Famed screenwriter and movie director, Quintin Tarantino also mentioned this while accepting a recent award.
For this reason, I dedicate this blog post to Shana.
Dear Shana,
I just want to thank you for being you. For being more than I ever could have dreamed a Haute Shots spokesmodel could be! You are my inspiration, my muse, my positive reinforcement and my valued friend.
Thank you for getting as excited about my crazy ideas as I do. Thank you for coming up with crazy ideas that get me excited too! Thank you for understanding the toll this business can take on me at times, and for renewing my creative spirit when things get too hard.
You are an exceptional human being. You work so hard and then spend your extra time helping others. I am completely in awe of you and all of your accomplishments so far.
I hope that this is the year that many of your wildest dreams come true. And, I'm grateful to be watching you on your amazing journey.

STACIE. I am now crying at my desk reading this. I was like…wait..those are those pictures…So I opened the blog post like I normally do…and I read…This was beautiful and sometimes we need to hear these kinds of things..I get so insecure sometimes…and I hope that I am doing this justice…I am always nervous that I am “not good enough” or need to be doing more…I guess that is how our minds work huh….Things do happen for a reason and there is a reason why I met you…and not only to listen to my crazy ideas…and dream of things that we would never have thought could happen…but actually MAKING them happen…turning our ridiculous ideas into reality…that is a dream come true. Thank you for being you and thank you for these words…this year is already awesome…and we have so many things to do!!! haha Love you Stacie…More women NEED to experience shooting with you….my life has changed because of it…and I hope everyone can say the same one day. Thank you for being my inspiration and friend :O)
