And the Finalists are….

Today is the big day! So jazzed to announce the finalists for our Spokesmodel contest! This was a LOT tougher than we thought it would be! We had lots of entries and a whole slew of out of town entries. And while, we wanted to select every single one of you, in the end I think we were able to narrow it down to what will work out the best for our spokesmodel needs. With that being said, we debated heavily on including an out of towner, but for this year we thought it best to stick locally.

Without further ado, here are our finalists!

TERI

Stacie, Hi there! I have been thinking about entering your Spokesmodel search since I saw your facebook post. So.... here it goes. I am a 43 year old mother of a precious 9 year old boy. I work as an RN at Summerlin Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I also work part-time in the aesthetic field. I believe that my schedule is fairly flexible (as stated in the Spokesmodel requirements), since I work two days a week at the hospital and can make my own schedule (usually 8-10 hours a week) for the other job.

I have a few reasons for wanting to be a part of your team. First, I had an amazing experience with you and the Hera team during my session. The time spent with you and the beautiful pictures you made for me were amazing. I think it is important for every woman to have confidence in themselves, and the pictures you took of me helped give that a boost. I work hard to stay fit and eat healthy, and your session and pictures made me feel like my hard work is paying off. Now, I understand the retouching of the photos helped out with that, but it was an enhancement of the real me! Second, I believe it is important for women to feel beautiful, especially in their 30's, 40's, 50's and beyond. I know that you help many women in this arena and I think that is truly amazing.

I am sending a "candid head shot" of me that has my son in it too. If this is a problem, I will find another one. I just love this picture to pieces. The full body shot is an "almost" full body shot that you took of me. I am available on April 1 if you decide I am worthy : )

Well, good luck in your search! If I am chosen to participate in the process I will be completely honored.

SHANA

First off, I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to be a part of what I think is a movement for real, beautiful women! Also, sorry this is so last minute I really went back and forth as to whether to enter but I am going for it!

A Las Vegas native, I have a been a frequent mustache and crazy eyebrow hairy monster client of Kat's haha I have always admired your work from afar. Only recently reading a little more about you and Haute Shots mission. There are so many beautiful women out there that have NO IDEA how beautiful they are...I unfortunately used to be one of them...I have always been a ham dancing ballet and performing, never minding my picture taken, but never really accepting that I was beautiful...almost 5 years ago my mom passed away and I just consumed myself in my masters program and work...I lost that confidence that I once had, never thinking I could even think about modeling...I am no size 2 and my big ole feet and awkward nose certainly didn't lend itself to amazingness...What you do in your portraits is make us ordinary women feel like models...and why can't we be models...you take what we once thought was our fault and turn it into our gift..and THAT is why I want to be the 2012 Haute shots spokes model...while models are incredible to look at, I often find myself looking for women who kinda look like me...maybe a little more meat..and some imperfections...

I started a personal blog about a year ago which has now turned into somewhat of a fashion blog...who would have thought other women would look at me and thinkI was fashionable...then I realized...I thought I was pretty fashionable...and that is why they thought so...You truly have a gift Stacie...and photography is just one of them...reading your testimonials it is obvious that you have created not only a picture but an experience for these women...and I would bet you have changed their lives for the better. Would love to be a part of this journey! Thank you again for the opportunity!

Included in this are a few pictures...I just recently won a session with a local photographer and got to play around...I figured these are the most recent...I was trying to find some full body...you can also visit my blog as there are tons of crazy pics haha Please let me know if you have any questions!!!

DANIELLE F.

Hi, I'm Danielle Ford and would love to be the Official Haute Shots Spokesmodel

I am a Las Vegas native, single mommy of 2, model, online marketer and poker player. I think I'd be a great spokesmodel because I'm photogenic and easy to work with. I'm not modest and open to new, creative ideas for shoots. I also have a good.. and growing.. social media presence so I could help gain more brand awareness.

Thanks for this opportunity, hope to hear back soon!

Congratulations girls!

For the entries who did not make it this time, please know we LOVED you all! This was truly so very difficult. We hope you will enter again next year though! xoxo

For the finalists, please make sure your schedule is open on April 1st for your test shoots...woohoo! Voting will commence after we get images of you all and are able o post them. Sooo exciting!
