True Friends | Las Vegas Boudoir Photography

Some people come in to your life for a fleeting moment, others hang around for a few years, while a handful of others are friends for life. Miss D falls into the ‘friends for life’ category for me. We met many years ago as coworkers and ended up sharing a closet space as our office…no joke. You can really get to know a person when working in such close quarters! While I was studying and learning photography I would talk Miss D into doing mini photo sessions on the roof during our lunch breaks…sooo fun! And she was always the perfect model! She had experience in dance which allowed her to pose so effortlessly and gracefully. Well, flash forward to now, and she still has that beautiful grace! I was so happy that she recently asked me to do a professional photoshoot for her while she was in Vegas, one in which we weren’t surrounded by construction workers on the roof of a casino! Without further ado, I present to you one of my all-time favorite friends (love you Miss D – thank you so much for wanting to do another shoot with me and for allowing me to share your images here):

I hope each and every one of you are surrounded by the beauty of good friends. They help make the ups and downs of life a much more interesting journey, don’t they?

P.S. If this post reaches 15 comments, Miss D will get a complimentary 8×10 metallic print from this set. Which shot of hers is your favorite?

    Absolutely gorgeous!!

The whole set is simply beautiful *but* my favorite is the 4th from the bottom with one of my favorite layered accessories ~ long necklaces. Plus, the houndstooth background is a favorite for The University of Alabama fans around here too! :p

She is stunning! I love the first picture, the third picture from the bottom, and the last one. I never thought of one look being a “comfy” look, but it really works! My fiance would totally rave over something like that. Especially a picture in one of his shirts ;) . I’m getting married in April, and would love for you to do a session with me so I could give the book to my fiance for a wedding gift. I need to work on losing a few lbs first ;) Gorgeous, gorgeous work though!

Thanks Arlene! I would love to help you give your hubby-to-be a great gift of boudoir for your wedding day! He will absolutely love that you did that for him! Definitely keep me posted as to when you might want to do your photo session. I always suggest doing it about 3 months in advance to ensure your products are all here in time and we don’t have to rush the process any that way. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
